Entertainment Neon and Led Lights

February 11th, 2010

Entertainment centers like casinos and game rooms are usually bright lighted and adorned with colorful lights. Just like the lively games that are being played inside these establishments, outdoor and indoor signage that matches these activities should be equally vivacious. The same is true with other entertainment establishments like karaoke bars that should exude an atmosphere of enjoyment. Signage for this kind of establishments should be able to invite those who want to sit back, unwind and take pleasure in the entertainment activities offered to them.

Neonsignexpress.com has a wide array of neon and LED signage especially designed for the entertainment industry. These neon and LED signs are bold and colorful to matches the dynamic ambience of these establishments. Multi-color combinations are used in these signs among which are green, while, yellow and red that can be easily seen in the dark and from far distances. These colors are enhanced by bright neon and LED bulbs that are heavy duty and energy efficient.

Neon Signs Attract Customers from the Street

May 16th, 2009

Neon signs have been around since the beginning of the 1900s, so they can hardly be called new or innovative. But they are still one of the most effective ways to attract customers to your place of business. There’s something about open signs that are very welcoming, so as a consumer, I am more likely going to patronize a business that has a neon sign than one that does not. I figure that if an establishment is going to recognize the value of this type of advertising and curb appeal, then they deserve my business. When I lived in the planned city of Columbia, Maryland, back in the late 1970s, the association governing the community banned any type of neon signage for commercial businesses. This edict did not benefit the many restaurants, gas stations and supermarkets that opened up shop in Columbia’s town centers. I found it particular irritating to be driving down the road looking for a gas station, only to pass it by because it had no electric signage. After several years of poor sales revenues, the association reversed their rules, and open signs made from neon were permitted. Now, you can drive down Columbia’s streets and roads and easily find the gas station, the burger joint, the grocery store and other shops and storefronts – all thanks to the incredible neon signs.

Adding atmosphere to your pad with Neon!

If you’re looking to add some atmosphere to your living space, you’re likely looking for something to make it not only stand out from every other apartment, house, or dorm out there but also add a touch to it that makes it your space. Using LEDs and neon lighting can add that final touch of atmosphere you’ve been missing. Small neon signs are easy to get and use, and come in a variety of designs. They can add a nice touch to your space, and you can find a neon design that’s suited for you. If that’s not enough, if you’re willing to pay more, you can have custom neon lighting made for you. These lights can add an older saloon or tavern feel to the room. LED lighting takes a bit more work to help create an atmosphere, but can be used to great effect by having single lights aimed in certain areas for mood lighting, in strings for decoration on walls or corners, and be used in conjunction with fiber optic displays for a more futuristic feel to the room. Smart use of neon signs and LED lighting can do wonders for your room. Looking at your space and what you want to do with it will help you figure out which type of lighting you want to use and to what effect.

Today, it’s more important than ever to maximize your visibility in what is becoming an very competitive marketplace. For those who have a brick-and-mortar space for their business, it can pay to invest in some sort of sign to help attract business. Neon and LED signage can do wonders for your business’ visibility. Signs in neon have been with us for years, and while getting a neon sign can be fairly quick and cheap, for a simple Open sign, many landmarks that are memorable had impressive neon artwork to help them stay in the minds of the viewers. The best examples of these are the legendary neon signs found in Las Vegas during the 20th century. Some of these signs are icons in the minds of people around the world. LED signage is a newcomer to the scene, however it’s proving itself in the advertising and promotion arena thanks to the technology that created it and its ability to be used to not just light up but be used to convey information much like a ticker. Large screens of LED lighting can be put up, and using red, green and blue LEDs like early color televisions did, you can convey moving images in the same way television does, only on a massive scale.

LEDs and You: a basic idea

April 14th, 2009

You’ve probably seen them around in the last few years, and you’re wondering what on earth these things are that are so small yet emit so much light that it could actually be blinding at times. LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are small electronic components that emit light when a current is passed through them. LEDs have become more and more popular in recent years to provide lighting in a variety of fields, replacing traditional incandescent bulbs and sometimes even neon signs with their ability to provide quick, on-demand lighting that can even be programmed with information such as times, or advertisements. LED lighting is much more efficient than either neon, fluorescent, or traditional incandescent bulbs, but is more expensive to produce in contrast to the older bulbs. The extent of LED use in our society today however is immense. From simple indicators that we use in everyday items like our coffee makers and cars, to gigantic animated billboards that can be seen for miles and miles away. LEDs light bulbs have been introduced to replace our traditional incandescent bulbs, while flashlights are moving towards using an array of LEDs to provide brighter luminescence while also giving longer life. LEDs may be a relative newcomer to the lighting scene, but their future is very bright indeed given their qualities.LEDs and You: a basic idea.
